Age Restrictions:
- Customer must be over 21 years of age;
- experience as a driver must be more than 2 years.
If the driver does not meet the above requirements, the deposit amount may be increased.
List of required documents
Before renting a car, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia must provide an identity document (passport) and a driver's license, which must correspond to the category of the car.
When signing a rental agreement, a foreign citizen must present a passport or a driver's license with initials in Latin letters.
Methods of payment
Payment is made by Visa, ARCA, MasterCard, American Express and MIR payment cards. You can also pay in cash or by bank transfer. Payment for car rental is made before the trip. The renter pays in advance for the full term of the car rental. If you wish to extend the rental period, you should make an advance payment. If you return the vehicle before the scheduled date, a recalculation is made and payment is made only for the period of use of the car.
Deposit
When paying for a rental car, the Renter must pay a deposit. The deposit can be made in cash or by credit card. It should be noted that the money is not withdrawn from the card, but can only be blocked. At the end of the rental period and provided that the terms and conditions of the contract have not been violated, the entire deposit amount is refunded back to the Tenant. It is possible to rent without paying the deposit, however, in this case the price will be slightly increased, about 30%.
What kind of fuel to use?
In order to avoid car breakdowns, we strongly recommend to refuel only at the official Flash and CPS gas stations. Fill your vehicle with premium 95 grade gasoline.

Travel Territory
Clients using the services of our company have the opportunity to use the rented cars on the whole territory of Armenia. In order to use the rented car outside the borders of Armenia (in Georgia), a written permission is required, which will be signed by a representative of Homy Cars. The permit for the Georgian border is paid in the amount of AMD 20000.
Who is authorized to drive the car?
The rented car can be driven by a driver who has a driver's license, which confirms the right to drive a car of this class. Homy Cars company staff recommends to check the competence of drivers with the company managers.
Rental period
A car can be rented for at least 24 hours. The start of the rental period is considered to be the moment when the acceptance certificate of the vehicle is signed. The return of the car should be made not later than 1 hour after the end of the last day of the rental. If the return of the vehicle is late, the Lessee will be charged for the extra day of the rental period.
Vehicle insurance conditions
The cars of Homy Cars are insured under the terms of compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of land vehicles (APPA) and comprehensive insurance against damage or theft (CASCO).
The company Homy Cars offers realization of insurance in two variants:
- Standard insurance package.
- Full Insurance Package.
The standard insurance package does not require additional payment as it is already included in the rental price. This package provides insurance in case of an accident, car theft (the full value of the car is covered by the insurance), passenger insurance and third party insurance. The deposit for this insurance is AMD 150000.
The full package of insurance services requires a daily payment of AMD 7000 (the highest amount charged is AMD 49000, which corresponds to a 7-day payment. If you wish to rent a car for more than 7 days, you do not need to pay an additional amount). This amount is non-refundable. The deposit for this type of insurance services is AMD 100000.
The above insurance packages are valid under the following conditions:
The renter informs the company about the accident (accident, etc.) in time. The cost will be reimbursed by the insurance only if the accident occurred on the territory of Armenia or Georgia;
At the time of the accident, the driver was not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, etc;
In case the relevant acts were recorded by the police.
PARKING AND TRAFFIC FINES
The costs of all traffic and parking charges, during the rental period of the car, are entirely the responsibility of the renter. The hirer is also responsible for possible breaches of law and order and their consequences. Upon receipt of a notice of violation from the Traffic Police, the Company may demand the full amount of the penalty from the Renter's credit card if the Renter fails to make payment for the fine within ten days.
The cost of parking lot in the whole territory of Yerevan city is included in the amount of car rental.
You can pay for parking via bank applications, as well as Idpay, Telcell, Easypay, as well as by SMS. The requisites for payment are available on the official website.
Send an SMS with the license plate number of the car:
- for zone "A" - to the number 1045 / 300 drams for 1 hour
- for zone "B" - to the number 5045 / 200 drams for 1 hour
Provision and return of the vehicle
Provision and return of the vehicle is carried out at the rental stations during working hours, but at your request, the company can provide you with additional offers:
If you wish to pick up the vehicle outside of working hours - it will cost you AMD 5000,
If you want to return the car outside of working hours - AMD 5000.
The car will be picked up and delivered to the address specified by you - AMD 5000.
